Assistant professor in Russian and/or central or eastern European cinema

The department of Slavic Languages and Literatures in the College of Letters, Arts & Sciences at the University of Southern California invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of assistant professor in the area of Russian and/or central or eastern European cinema.

In addition to Ph.D. by August 2011, significant scholarly potential and native or near-native fluency in the relevant language(s) is required.

The successful applicant will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses, including courses in the University’s general education program.
