Visiting Assistant Professor of Russian

Wellesley College - Wellesley, MA

The Wellesley College Department of Russian announces a search for a one-year, full-time leave replacement with a specialty in Russian literature, culture, and language.

The appointment will be for the 2012-13 academic year. The successful candidate will teach five courses in nineteenth- and twentieth-century Russian literature and culture (both in translation and in Russian) and Russian language. Ability to teach writing-intensive courses, thematically organized courses, and Russian film especially welcome.

Native or near-native fluency in Russian required. The minimum educational requirement for this position is a PhD (ABD considered). Excellent salary and full benefits package.
