Visiting Assistant Professor of Russian

Williams College - Williamstown, MA

The Department of German and Russian at Williams College announces a two-year visiting position for 2013-15. The successful candidate will teach a variety of language (to both novices as well as heritage speakers) and culture courses in Russian and/or in translation. Specialization is open. Interest and experience in comparative literature, interdisciplinary work, and regions of Eurasia other than Russia are particularly attractive.

Qualifications:

PhD preferred, ABD required. We're looking for a passionate, creative, and rigorous teacher-scholar who is committed to working in a highly selective liberal arts environment.
